Old Country Buffet should put a warning on their food. WARNING:COLON CLEANSING POSSIBLE!!

The only people who are not bothered by their food are old people and people who don't know what good food is suppose to taste like.

I never seen one with a gas pump, usually the gas station is next door.
Not just gas, but it give my husband the runs, so needless to say, we don't eat there anymore!!! What DO they put in their food?????Does Old Country Buffet food give you gas? (Hometown Buffet).?
Nope, but that's because I've only eaten there once and that was all it took for me to not go back.
All buffet's give you gas.
I don't get gas when I go there... I love the place! But... it's probably because this is the food I grew up with (in the south) and I go to an Old Country Buffet in Virginia and I know the manager and how he runs his kitchen. For folks not used to rich southern dishes, it would probably be a bit much some days :)



My standard dessert is bread pudding with a little vanilla ice cream on it... sweet tea is a must have...



I will tell you though that I've only found ONE Chinese buffet in my town that does not give me gas, stomach cramps and the runs! The rest of them? I feel absolutely ILL by an hour after I'm done eating... two at the most. My husband can eat anywhere except the ONE place where it's the worst for me too.



I think different people probably have different tolerance levels for food bourne pathogens or something... you know... bacteria in the kitchen maybe? Or food additives... or MSG or whatever. It's not MSG for me by the way because that gives me a massive headache!
