yes but she double talks and says all business owners or successful are scum and she is a vermin in my opinion
I LOVE that Republicans are publicizing that clip like they think it hurts her. Elizabeth Warren is the single greatest communicator of the argument for liberal fiscal policy in the country. That clip connects with voters because what she is saying is 100% true and very clearly stated.
Because of her, instead of hundreds of billions, TARP cost us virtually nothing. She recovered the substantial majority of the TARP funding that Bush shoveled out the door with no strings attached and designed the strings that Obama attached to the remaining funds so that we could recover even more of that money. She created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau so that consumers could not only be warned about the predatory lending practices that lead to the housing crisis, but more proactively, could be warned and protected from whatever the next problem is. Republicans won't seat her or anyone else for that organization, so now she will join the Senate herself and be the greatest champion in Washington for the American middle class.
Let me ask you this, did Bill Gates and other .com billionaires build the information superhighway? Or was it publicly funded organizations like DARPA (inventors of the internet), CERN (inventors of the World Wide Web), and public universities (inventors of the web browser through a federal grant known as the Gore Bill, giving rise to his famous exaggerated claim to having invented the internet)?
The same can be said of roads, power, dams, and all other major infrastructure, as well as police, security, and everything else without which it would be impossible for any business to do anything. These things don't bring enough profit to any individual to make it economical for them to fund the projects, but they bring enough profit to everybody to make them worth funding through a mandate and taxes. It can be amounted to saying god has created all the stone to create the roads so therefor everyone must become religious.

It is obvious that she is from the party of dumb and dumber. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.
