Morbid obesity?

how can anyone let themselves go to the point that they do. I'm talkin like 450+ lbs, and then you still see em at old country buffet, wearing sweatpants and stained mumus, loadin up 80 plates and puttin a hurtin on OCB, jackin up prices for the rest of us. do some people really have no shame? how anyone can get that fat is beyond my belief.Morbid obesity?
I don't know why some people get that obese if they could really control it. Some people can have a common thyroid problem which causes massive weight gain if not controlled. Most of the time "under-active" thyroid can be controlled by medication. There has been known cases where the thyroid gland can become malignant. Hence it will have to be removed. When removed, there is no thyroid to control metabolism; causing more difficulty in controlling a healthy weight.

The second cause is psychological problems. When an individual has emotional problems, food can be an easy fix to control the way they are feeling. Thus causing massive weight gain over a long period.

Finally, there are known cases where an individual person can become dependent on food. I'm not talking as a necessity, but an actual dependence for it. There has been known cases where people have experienced withdrawal symptoms; just like when someone is addicted to drugs.

Final thought

In a way, I think it can be very selfish when a person eats so much at a buffet that in time causes inflation of their menu prices. These people need to stay away from buffets at all cost. They need to go to a rehabilitation facility that deals with the control to morbid obesity. It can be really sad to see someone with such problems and literally kill themselves.Morbid obesity?
What's worse is when they are 800 lbs and SOMEONE ELSE feeds them!Morbid obesity?
Beyond belief? Yes! Beyond scary? Yes! Beyond pity? No!
