Should tables be decorated with flowers etc., for a silver wed., anniversary.?

Its a buffet, to be held in a country club. Anything else to decorate the tables?Should tables be decorated with flowers etc., for a silver wed., anniversary.?
Silver hearts and stars - get them at cake decorating shops. Silver ribbons curled up - silver balloons. Sounds lovely!
Hi,if your having a cake that will be the centre piece.I personally am

not into flowers.

Have a lovely time.Should tables be decorated with flowers etc., for a silver wed., anniversary.?
Instead of flowers which can take up too much space on a table, how about some silver, white and/or black helium-filled balloons with a pretty weight on the table?
Is it a formal sit-down buffet? in which case, yes, you can have flowers and / or candles. If it is a more casual do, then you can probably manage without table decorations.Should tables be decorated with flowers etc., for a silver wed., anniversary.?
Flowers are kind of tacky, in my opinion.

I had to do a 50th wedding anniversary for my grandparents a while back and we used gold balloons with weights as the centrepieces (with a some maroon balloons for color).

It looked really sharp and once the whole room was decorated it looked so elegant. Silver will be even nicer, i think. Maybe add some royal or navy blue to the mix...

good luck!
Why ever not? Silver hearts flowers and any other appropriate dressing
Silver bells on silver ribbons and, if your florist has them, silver roses. You can also get tiny silver baskets and fill them with Jordan almonds which also come in an edible silver coating and look fabulous.
You should have something at each table like a candle or flowers. Something that your guests can take home is best.
Flowers would be lovely - the symbolic flower for the 25th anniversary is iris, and the standard purple iris goes very nicely with silver vases or ribbons - you can mix them in with white flowers for a lovely effect. You can also scatter loose flowers tied with white and silver ribbons, or, as someone else suggested, make little baskets with Jordan almonds in them. Silver confetti would also fill the space without crowding the buffet table, too.

Frankly, I think that balloons are juvenile and a little tacky, so I would stick to flowers, candles, silver dishes to hold the food, and some small favors like the little baskets.
Absolutely! Also balloons, all color coordinated. I would also add disposable cameras so the guests can take pictures.
There is "rule book" about decor...moons and stars would be romantic, and easy to find in silver.

One place I went too sprinkled tiny confetti shapes around the table---which would also be pretty.

And maybe some balloons, if the guests of honor are young at heart?
