Who do you believe Warren Buffet or G W Bush?

Warren Buffet announced this country is indeed in a recession citing his businesses slow downs and a general down turn - "...the economy is going south...". Our illustrious (Lying) Leader G W Bush says we are not in a recession that the economy is fine-just a little slow. (I think G W Bush is only thing that is a little slow!)Who do you believe Warren Buffet or G W Bush?
Warren Buffet!. He has made gazillions in investing and he does it without dealing under the table.



If there is one human on the planet who knows the American economy inside out and how it works he is it.



If he says we are in a recession, we are in a recession.





ps: To the conservatives who keep claiming that the liberals WANT a recession to make their president look bad.



Bush already looks bad. Bush already looks like a total buffoon.



Unlike conservative (bush included) we do not mistake HOW WE WANT THINGS TO BE for reality.

Although we all know the technical definition I think Buffet would be the one to listen too. He is a financial genius. Self made. Started buying property at like 15 or something.

Warren Buffet is a stock speculator...he does not manufacuture or produce anything...he knows his words alone can move the stock market 100 points in a day..



To become that successful at stock speculation, you have to be able to take advantage of market downturns as well as big gains...there's a reason why some of the rich only get richer during the tough times...

I believe Warren Buffet.

I laughed outloud when it was announced the GW is claiming we're not in a recession....like somehow that will make it true.
With a degree in both business and economics I full heartedly agree with mr. Bush, this is not a recession and shame on Mr. Buffett for making a political play.
I believe President Bush. I have a degree in Economics and I know we are not in a recession. I just cannot understand why so many people like you on the left WANT us to be in a recession.

more importantly GDP is a not THE final figure (meaning one has to look at other factors). Many forget that Federal spending is actually part of GDP! Considering that this year it was increased by another enormous amount to 3.1 trillion$, all of our GDP growth is due to our bloated "fiscally conservative" spending.

We are not in a recession by the standard definition of two quarters of declining growth.
Warren Buffet is a modest man with a great amount of wisdom in economics. I trust Buffet more than Bush.
Technically, as acknowledged by WB, we are not in a recession (yet). WB was just saying that common sense would tell anyone that we are headed that direction.
Wench..it takes 2 quarters of negative GDP growth to call it a recession has not happened yet. I know you must be disappointed.
