What food should we choose for our wedding buffet style reception ?

My husband and I are feeding approximately 80 people at our reception from 4-9pm. My family is traditional Greek. My husband is very American and Country. Any suggestions on the type of foods we can have to compromise????What food should we choose for our wedding buffet style reception ?
I'd have Greek food AND some American classics. For instance, have a nice Greek salad with feta and olives, some lamb dishes, maybe kabobs, spannikopita, pita breads. And have a prime rib (American) and baked chicken, some potatoes, steamed veggies and wedding cake and baklava.

Have traditional greek wines and American beer for drinks.

What about Italian food? Pasta, salads, deli platters, cheese and fruit plates?
How about ham and chicken? What food should we choose for our wedding buffet style reception ?
Sit down and make a list of foods you both like. There is no reason that the buffet has to be only one type of cuisine. For example, you could have both a feta salad (or whatever you prefer from your own heritage) and green salad option with choice of dressings. Work your way down the list like that. That way everyone is happy.
all depending on ur budget:

I would chose one type of main meat. Most people will eat Chicken over steak. (or do both)

Then I would have a vegetarian dish.

A Salad or two

two or more differ side dishes,

Cheese/crackers, appetizer stuff

Desert ( your cake ) and maybe fresh fruit

Since you have two different main types of taste buds going to be there... (Greek and American)

Sit down with your hubby and compromise on what you both like and what you both want to be there.

good luck
