El Violini in NYC... and they don't let you ask for dishes to be prepared differently (LOL) you can't mess with their recipes... their food is the best Italian ever. I have only eaten there once, but I will never forget it. (Thanks, Tom!)
My local favorite is Applebees for it's Mexican cheeseburgers and salads... My beach favorite is the Inlet Harbor in Ponce Inlet, FL, with the best key lime pie ever and great seafood.
Ben's Chili Bowl ran a close second! But you know I love Italian more than any food in the world. :-) and you took me to that restaurant in NY, too! Come to think of it, we have eaten at a lot of restaurants... You know, we could do our own TV show of where to eat when friends visit (LOL)!

The Golden Corral. It is a buffet. It is affordable and the food is very good quality.
I am a diabetic and can't eat deep fried food, no sugar, no refined carbs, low salt etc.
I like Golden Corral because they serve food that I can eat and I can choose a variety of foods that can fit into my diet.
I can think of no other restaurant that has a menu I can eat from without deletions or substitutions and few give a good meal if you need those extra services.
At Golden Corral, I serve myself.
