Why are people rude coz im fat?

i was at the old country buffet the other day and i was havin a hard time filling my plate because i'm on crutches with a broke ankle in a cast. nobody helped me and one guy said i should stop eating than some kid tried to kick my crutch away while his mom laughed. why are people so threatened by a woman with meat on her bones.Why are people rude coz im fat?
I don't think you're funny. You're not fat, you're probably one of the people that pick on the overweight and obese people just trying to live their lives and mind their own business.

I can tell a fake question when I read one.
Because being "Plus" size comes with stigmas (hence they thought you were on crutches not because of your ankle, but becasue of your weight). It is a matter of society what is "attractive" (what is on TV, in magazines and other media), but also a point of view (some men prefer a woman with meat on their bones). Some women that do not feel attractive (big boned or not) tent to be more vulnerable to harrassment and teasing, so that they get "picked on" more often.

It is not to say that it is OK to harrass someone or pick on them, but in a sense people do it to make themsleves feel better about their shortcomings.

I am "big" myself, and with a bit of an "attitude", keeping my head high and having a lot of slef-esteem, I have been able to live my life without these idiots bringing me down. Have a sense of humor adn remind yourself why you are great and a better person then those that you run into.Why are people rude coz im fat?
Wow, I've heard of rude people but that's just ridiculous. You're too nice to them. They look right at you and say "Oh, I can pick fun at her. She won't argue back with me."



You need to just surprise the hell out of people and talk nasty right back to them. If it's a kid, go up to the parents and say "You may want to teach that kid of yours some manners." If they argue back, just continue to stand up for yourself. If you don't stand up for yourself then everyone will walk all over you.



My sister had an incident just the other day at a store. My sister dresses properly and just comes off as a woman who is polite and won't argue back, but let me tell you she WILL argue back if you mess with her. A woman made a snotty comment to her in Target the other day, so my sister basically ripped her head off (not literally obviously lol, but you get the picture).
ignore, its that saying never judge a book by its cover they don't know what your like inside I'm putting on a bit of weight but I'm just getting into my head eat less move more just ignore them they are just horrible people with no heart stand up for yourself and believe!

Taking pride in an inability to moderate your lifestyle is rather sad.
Wow. That sounds almost satirical. I don't know where you live, but nobody would be that collectively rude anywhere else in the world.
