Mac and cheese recipe?

I'm looking for the recipe for cheesy mac and cheese just as it is prepared at Old Country Buffet or Shooter's Buffet. Obviously, I can't ask them so if anyone knows then I like to know. Thanks in advance.Mac and cheese recipe?
Ingredients

5 tablespoons butter

2 1/2 tablespoons flour

2-2 1/2 cups milk

8 ounces Velveeta cheese

10 ounces elbow macaroni

salt and pepper

Directions

1Melt butter is a sauce pan over medium heat.

2add flour and stir creating a roux.

3Whisk in milk slowly.

4Whisk sauce untill thick and smooth.

5add velveeta in small chunks.

6mix untill all the cheese is melted.

7boil macaroni in slightly salted water.

8add cheese sauce to cooked macaroni.

9add salt and pepper to taste.

10bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minute.

Cheese Macaroni

A very rich and creamy version of macaroni and cheese. This can be made any time of the year. My whole family loves it.







Prep Time: 25 Minutes

Cook Time: 35 Minutes

Ready In: 1 Hour

Yields: 6 servings

INGREDIENTS

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 (16 ounce) package elbow macaroni

9 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup shredded Muenster cheese

1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

2- cups half-and-half

8 ounces cubed processed cheese food (Valveeta)

2 eggs, beaten

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper



DIRECTIONS

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain well and return to cooking pot.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 8 tablespoons butter; stir into the macaroni.

In a large bowl, combine the Muenster cheese, mild and sharp Cheddar cheeses, and Monterey Jack cheese; mix well.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Add the half and half, 1 1/2 cups of cheese mixture, cubed processed cheese food, and eggs to macaroni; mix together and season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a lightly greased deep 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese mixture and 1 tablespoon of butter.

Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until hot and bubbling around the edges; serve.





Mac and cheese recipe?
OLD FASHIONED MAC 'N CHEESE



1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni

4 tbsp. butter, divided

1/4 c. all purpose flour

3 c. milk

1 tsp. dry mustard

3/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper

1 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/3 c. plain dry bread crumbs



Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water in large saucepan just until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.

Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook, stirring 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk, mustard, salt and peppers. Bring to boil, whisking. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and whip in cheeses until melted and smooth. Stir in drained macaroni. Pour into shallow 2 quart baking dish. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter, stir in bread crumbs and sprinkle over macaroni. Bake 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes.



Makes 8 servings.

This is a REALLY delicious one;



1 (8 ounce) package elbow macaroni

1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

1 (12 ounce) container small curd cottage cheese

1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

salt and pepper to taste

1 cup dry bread crumbs

1/4 cup butter, melted



Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil, add pasta, and cook until done; drain.

In 9x13 inch baking dish, stir together macaroni, shredded Cheddar cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. In a small bowl, mix together bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle topping over macaroni mixture.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes, or until top is golden.

Serves 6.



*If you want you can add some chopped ham, peas, onion or whatever you like.
