No, it doesn't make Buffett a communist.
Because he's not one, actually.
He may or may not be right about the benefits of the stimulus. But he's one enormously rich capitalist who is expressing his ideas about the best way the government should be reacting to a classic capitalist recession.
Of course, Buffet's ideas on what the government should do may differ from the ideas of other rich capitalists, some of whom may have very different ideas about how the government should react to the recession.
But the fact that capitalist "A" disagrees with capitalist "B" about economic policy doesn't make capitalist "A" into an anti-capitalist -- except, maybe, in the mind of capitalist"B."
Very possibly, capitalist "B" may be genuinely convinced that Warren Buffet is a Martian, but that doesn't make it true.
No, it doesn't. Wall Street's banditry was the proximate cause of the Great Recession, not its underlying cause. Even if the Street is better controlled in the future (doubtful), the structural reason for the Great Recession still haunts America. That reason is America's surging inequality. Buffett understands this, which is why he has given more to charitable causes (most of his wealth) than any other billionaire (with the lone exception of Bill Gates) and recommends more taxes (instead of unnecessary Bush tax cuts that cost taxpayers trillions that were once hidden in the national debt) for the wealthiest Americans.Does this make warren buffet a communist?
Buffett could state whatever he wants, he has no worries about finances and the hardships of daily living.He may state "we're on the right course based upon all his savings and tax cuts." He is out of touch with the every day working person who struggles to remain financially afloat while Mr. O in the white house continues to distribute our wealth overseas while placing "we the people" in dire financial straits that will continue to keep us in the status of a 3rd world country.
Buffet is what's called "uber wealthy", or "untouchably wealthy".
No matter how much he is taxed, fined, or robbed, he'll NEVER feel it.
