Thoughts on Old Country Buffet?

lol do you guys like that place?.... do you think the food there is good? does it make you too fat ?Thoughts on Old Country Buffet?
My son got green beans with a cock roach in it from Country Buffet,, When several other diners seen it they got up and left,,The manager offered my son a $20.00 gift certificate from there,, Like he ever planned on eating there again ! Was only two or three months and they closed up here in our city,,,So I would imagine was many more complaints about them, and not just my son..

food is terrible service is worse. if the food was sanitary before it hit the buffet by the time the slime balls of workers get it there you are bound to get food poisoning. and the people who eat there are just as bad coughing and sneezing into their hands and then getting food. i will do my best to never eat there again.
i used to like it when i was little, but now i just go there for the unlimited ice cream.Thoughts on Old Country Buffet?

if this is an consolation to you i call it "the bucket of death" in that lies the answer.
when they first opened here, they were really good. The food was great, ham, roast beef, wow...



Then as time went on, they became known as the "old folks buffet"... mainly because you fif not need teeth to eat there. Everything was mush, they stopped with the steamboat round (roast beef) and the ham was a - well, I'm not really sure what the ham was.



Then they went out of business.
Old Country Buffet = Country Buffet = Hometown Buffet.



Different names for the same restaurants. As long as the place has been open for a while and there is a good stream of traffic, should be OK.
