Hot Fudge Pudding Cake



1? cups sugar, divided

1 cup all purpose flour

7 T Hershey’s cocoa, divided

2 T baking powder

? t salt

? cup milk

? cup butter melted (or oleo)

1? t vanilla

? cup lt. brown sugar, packed

1? cup hot water



In medium mixing bowl combine ? cup sugar, flour, 3 T cocoa, baking powder and salt. Blend in milk and melted butter and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into greased and floured 8” x 8” x 2” or 9” x 9” x 2” pan. In small bowl combine remaining ? cup sugar, brown sugar and 4 T cocoa; sprinkle evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top. Do not stir. Bake 40 minutes at 350°. Let stand 15 minutes, spoon into dessert dishes, spooning sauce from bottom of pan over tops.Old Country Buffet,s Chocolate Pudding cake recipe?
