6 tlbsp butter

1/3 cup flour

1 1/2 cup milk



In a small bowl, melt the butter, then whisk in the flour to

form a paste, slowly whisk in the milk `til smooth and creamy, then add to

They probably have it loaded with veggies and meat and then thicken it with roux...

they add cornstarch. Before you add it, dissolve the cornstarch in a little cold water and then add it to the soup while cooking. It will not dissolve in hot water, only in cold.
Maybe they let it sit on the stove for several days.
