How do you make Old Country Buffet style Mac N' Cheese?

I LOVE the Mac N' Cheese they make at old country buffet. It is very creamy and cheesy. Does anyone have a recipe for their mac n' cheese or one like it?How do you make Old Country Buffet style Mac N' Cheese?

slowly add 4 cups of warm milk to the mixture

and a tablespoon of corn starch dissolved in water

let it all melt together and thicken up just a little bit

add a handful of shredded cheddar cheese over the top

Boil a pound of pasta, drain.

Melt butter in a skillet or pot, add an equal amount of flour to the butter.

Stir and cook till it reaches a tan color.

Add a bay leaf and stir.

Add four cups of milk slowly, in parts.

Temper in a stirred egg.

Remove the bay leaf and add desired amount of cheese (more cheese stronger flavor).

Pour sauce over pasta and enjoy.

I don't know what kind of mac-n-cheese they make there, but this is my favorite recipe. you can also bake it for an hour at 350 with Panko bread crumbs on top, adding cheese on top for the last 20 minutes.
